Following Ken Moate’s earth works’ It was time to bring in the big guns to fill the footings with concrete.

August 24th 2017 and the rest of the brick work is being finished. Next step is a layer of sand ready for the final layer of concrete.

Friday 13th April 2018 and the building is gradually taking shape.
6th June-18 The roof trusses being hoisted into place.
15th May-18 Frame erected ready for the walls.
9th June -18. Trusses in place. Ready for the slats and tiles. Pic taken from inside main hall
8th Oct-18 The main building on the right can now be used, whilst the left hand side is being completed
We would also like to thank Alan Barton who supplied some of the labourers and also paid for the brickwork and RAPID MIX LTD who supplied all the ready mix cement at cost. Finally a big thank you, to all those others volunteers who turned up on the day to lend us their muscles.
